Buying gifts for that photographer in your life can be challenging, thats why I’m here. My job is to make your life easier. Without further ado… heres five cheap photography gifts that every photographer needs.
1: LENS CAPS
Maybe it’s just me… but my lens caps are constantly going missing. So I’ll buy them in bulk for cheap. Recently I’ve started putting a sticker with my logo on my lens caps. Every camera brand calls for a different style of lens cap so make sure you get the right one for your photographers camera. On top of being lens caps… when you put two together, they make great cases for small things like SD cards!
2: PHONE SD CARD READERS
A photographer is always looking to make they’re workflow, flow faster. A phone SD card reader has saved me multiple times when I’m shooting with a client or if my laptop is at home and I want to get some editing done. Make sure you get the right reader though, the plugs are dependant on the phone they have.
3: REFLECTOR SET
A set of reflectors is something that you don’t realize you need until you absolutely need it. This set comes with an awesome diffusion pannel that has saved me everytime I shoot portraits on a sunny day. Your novice photographer probably doesnt have these yet… and if they do, it’s still not a terrible idea to have multiple.
4: SD CARD CASE
I cannot stress this one enough. SD cards are expensive and so easy to loose. Do your photographer a favor and get them this case. It holds 12 full sized cards and 24 micro SDs. This is the case I’ve used for years and its saved me from a few water-related incidents.
5: CAMERA STRAPS
Cameras are expensive and the most painful thing you could do is drop your camera. I’ve never been a fan of camera straps but recently I’ve found myself purchasing a few colors of this rope camera strap for my film cameras. Its inexpensive and it looks great.
Any purchase you make will give me a small kick-back at no additional cost to you. Thank you for supporting the blog!
